Working Out Your Unique Number Code
Let's start with an example:


Lucy Mary Moore was born on the 14th October,1955 (more usefully for us, 14-10-1955).
First take the date of birth and add the numbers across: l+4+1+0+1+9+5+5=26.
Then reduce the result to a single number: 26=2+6=8.

The 8 is Lucy's Life Path Number. The Life Path tells her what characteristics she has to learn or develop in this life in order to achieve happiness and success (see later for the meanings).

Next we will work out Lucy's Birthday Number.

This comes from the day of birth (in this case 14).

The number is added across and then reduced in the same way: 14=1+4=5
The result is Lucy's Birthday Number. This 5 Birthday Number tells Lucy about some of the qualities that she has to use to help her to achieve her Life Path (see later for the meanings).



Now, let's lake a look at your Expression Number.

To find this number we need to analyse your name. Here are the values for each letter:

A,J,S = 1
B,K,T = 2
C,L,U = 3
D,M,V = 4
E,N,W = 5
F,O,X = 6
G,P,Y = 7
H,Q,Z = 8
I, R = 9

Convert each letter of your full name at birth to a value. Add the values across and then reduce them to a single number (just as you did before). This gives you your Expression Number. You can check your answer by using the boxes below.

The Expression tells you which characteristics you should express in your daily life. It is also a major indicator of the occupation and relationships which are most suited to your talents.


Finally, let's work out your Soul Urge.

Add up the vowels of your name and reduce them to a single number. This gives you your Soul Urge, an indicator of your deep inner desires which must be satisfied at some stage in your life. If you have the letter 'Y' in your name count it as a vowel.
